Training
Did you know that training is available to all NrG Web Highway users on an as-required basis?
Whether you need in-depth training or just a quick review of the service or a specific module,
whether you prefer to visit the NrG offices in Calgary, or receive training at your own desk,
we can accommodate your needs. Here are some of the options readily available to you:
- Online Help
Did you also know that online Help will provide not only explanation of interface elements inside each module, but is also designed to walk you through all the tasks you are able to, and likely to perform for that module, while conducting your business on NrG Web Highway? Click the Help button at the top of the screen in any module to view Help in a separate browser window on top of the module you are viewing. Clicking the Print button on your browser will allow you to print the Help topics you choose to display in the browser.
- Tips & Tricks
Tips and Tricks for using a module are available by clicking the Tips, located next to the Help button in any of the modules. Make sure you take time to review these - they will save you time and potential frustration in the long run. These tips are also available in the online Help.
- Quick Reference Cards
As well, we can develop quick-reference cards providing visual cues and quick task reminders for a specific module. Call our Help Desk at 1.877.920.PIPE (7473) or in Calgary at 920.PIPE (7473). We will try our best to accommodate your specific training needs.
- Going It Alone . . .
If you feel you don't need any training or would prefer to 'go it alone', then might we suggest you start by reviewing the sections of online Help describing the elements of the interface. Find these by clicking the ‘Show me the Interface’ button on the Home page of each online Help module. Once you're comfortable with the concept of the interface design, we suggest that you move on to reviewing the specific task areas focussing on those tasks that you will routinely perform using NrG Web Highway.

The NrG Help Desk is staffed between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on weekdays, excluding Canadian statutory holidays. Calls after hours are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and will be directed to the Help Desk Analyst on call.
